Have You Noticed?

Ready for More. You’ve heard this phrase from us quite a bit throughout the last year.  Although this statement encompasses many different aspects of our company, the overall idea of the statement “Ready for More” really defines who we are at Producers Hybrids and has prompted us to transform ourselves to better fit this mantra.

Have You Noticed?

You may have noticed some aesthetical changes more recently.  Our brand colors have evolved to red, black and white.  These colors are found in our logo, on our pickups, at farm shows and other marketing materials and apparel throughout the company.  The biggest change you may have noticed is our logo.

When we were founded in 1987, the Midwest seedsmen who founded the company were devoted to developing a seed company based on three basic values: respect for people, integrity in business and fairness to the farmer.  We are still devoted to these three core values, along with a drive to push forward and provide the best genetics and products to our customers.  This blend of past and present can be seen in our newly updated logo.

The Producers Hybrids logo is our brand identity.  Over the course of the last 25 years, our logo has taken on a life of its own without consistency.  Our logo needs to represent the brand with consistency, which is why we have decided to make a few changes.  We value the history of the company and the humble beginnings, and this shines through in the same crescent and Producers Hybrids type that appear in our logo.

Are You Ready for More?

Producers Hybrids is a leader in the seed industry, and our logo and brand image have evolved to support this.  As part of AgReliant Genetics, the third largest corn and soybean seed company in the United States, we are growing fast and our dealers and customers demand leadership, professionalism and progression from the Producers Hybrids brand.  Our newly updated logo and brand image showcase our strength and leadership in the seed industry. We look forward to continued growth and new partnerships while never forgetting our humble beginnings. We are truly Ready for More, and our brand and logo are, too!

Fall Farm Shows

What a crazy few weeks it has been!  We have been to five farm shows throughout August and September.  We started at FarmFest in Minnesota.  What a great turnout!

A few of the Minnesota State FFA Officers visited the Producers Hybrids tent during FarmFest this year. Thanks for stopping by!

Next we traveled to Mitchell, South Dakota for DakotaFest.  It was great to see everyone there!

Each day at the farm shows, we drew a winner for an iPad and registered customers to win a Homak toolbox! Jesse Biggins from South Dakota was one of the winners of an iPad during DakotaFest this year.

Farm Progress was our next stop.  Although it was a hot and dusty week, we had a fantastic turnout.  Thanks to everyone who ventured out in the heat and visited us!

Despite the tough summer, Producers Hybrids products have performed well. We showcased our products at each farm show. At Farm Progress, visitors were able to see our products up close.

Clay County Fair was another stop for Producers Hybrids this fall farm show season.  The week long fair brought many visitors to our booth, including this year’s District FFA Livestock Judging winners!

Congrats to Boyden-Hull FFA on winning the District Livestock Judging Contest at the Clay County Fair! Thanks for stopping by and visiting us!

The final Farm Show for the fall was Husker Harvest Days in Grand Island, NE.  Nebraska weather was showcased during this three day event: heat, wind, rain and sun.  It was quite the week and we had a phenomenal turnout.  Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks to everyone for coming to visit us at the Farm Shows this fall!

We value your business and appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to come visit us at farm shows this fall.  Have a safe harvest season!

Welcome!

Welcome to the Producers Hybrids blog!  Producers Hybrids is a seed company that was founded in 1987 in Battle Creek, NE.  From there, we have grown into a top seed company in the United States.  In 2005, we joined AgReliant Genetics – the largest independent seed business and third largest corn and soybean company in the world.  Joining AgReliant Genetics has allowed us to provide our customers with a larger base of genetics. Although we have expanded since 1987, you, our customer, are still the most important aspect of our business and we strive to provide you with outstanding products and customer service.

This blog will provide you a look inside the Producers Hybrids company.  Our company extends throughout seven states in the Midwest (South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado and Kansas).  Our blog posts will cover information (agronomy information, product updates, events, etc.) from each of these areas so you know what is going on in your area.  Along with that, you will get to learn more about the great people that work at Producers Hybrids by taking sneak peeks into the everyday events at Producers Hybrids.

We here at Producers Hybrids are working to provide you with all of the information you need.  The world is becoming smaller as social media expands.  “Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely.”  Here at Producers Hybrids, we choose to keep up with the changes and provide you with everything you need to make decisions about what you use on your farm.  We hope this blog provides you with all of the information you want about Producers Hybrids!
